ITF Tech Ltd are Cyber Essentials certified (initially June 2019, re-certified annually thereafter), and can offer a professional and cost effective service to achieve your own certification.
Please also see the cyber liability insurance below that can be included once certification is achieved, and the conditions are met.
Option 1 - Certification only

This involves a manual assessment of current client systems against the Cyber Essentials five technical security controls, via a questionnaire

When the questionnaire has been completed, ITF Tech will transfer information from that on to the cloud based certification portal where it will be formally assessed.
Once you've passed, your Cyber Essentials certificate will be sent to you.

The certificate is valid for 12 month, and needs to be reviewed and reassessed after that period, for ongoing compliance

Option 2 - Certification as a Service

This involves an initial manual assessment of current client systems against the Cyber Essentials five technical security controls, via a questionnaire, and installation of the CyberSmart app, which monitors client devices every 15 minutes, reporting to the cloud portal, any deficiencies against the five base security controls.

When the questionnaire has been completed, ITF Tech will transfer information from that on to the cloud based certification portal ready for formal assessment.
Once you've passed, your Cyber Essentials certificate will be sent to you.

Although this process needs to be repeated annually to remain compliant, device data gathering via the CyberSmart app should reduce the time to re-certificate.

Cyber Liability Insurance

As part of the certification, all organisations with a head office domiciled in the UK and a turnover of less than £20 million get automatic cyber insurance if they achieve Cyber Essentials certification. The cost of this is included in the assessment package but you can opt out of the insurance element if you choose. This will not change the price of the assessment package. If you want the insurance then we do need to ask some additional questions and these answers will be forwarded to the broker. The answers to these questions will not affect the result of your Cyber Essentials assessment. It is important that the insurance information provided is as accurate as possible and that the assessment declaration is signed by Board level or equivalent, to avoid any delays to the insurance policy being issued.
